The simple, yet effective method of dressing is something I have become more invested in as I’ve gotten older. I need comfort, above everything else. I have gastro issues alongside my fibromyalgia so a lot of the time; it feels like I’m in pain from head to toe and everything in between. You don’t see that when you look at my pictures though. You see the polished, posed, put together look. There’s a lot of thought that goes behind each of my looks, even simple ones like this. Elasticated waist, check, comfortable/ill fitting “home” bra that probably shouldn’t be worn out in public, check. Bag big enough to fit flats for when my feet/back hurt too much, check. Loose fitting cotton tee so I don’t get too sweaty, check. Sometimes I do feel held back, I’d like to wear a lot of things but sadly my pain levels won’t allow it. I guess you just have to find a happy medium don’t you? Find what works for you and jazz up your go-tos with different accessories, makeup and scents. Each element is vital to bringing the whole look together and I take so much pleasure in piecing all these things together. I hope I never loose that passion.
